I’m Emily. A Westchester licensed Art Therapist helping women shift from control to connection.

I hold sixteen-years of clinical experience working with women who struggle with anxiety, complex trauma, and relational challenges.

My approach to therapy integrates evidence-based approaches, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness practices with Art Therapy.

I help women find lasting relief from anxiety and trauma.

Many women carry lingering wounds and stories from the past—whether from childhood, or from complex relationships. You may find yourself revisiting certain memories, feelings, or self-story without fully understanding why.

“Healing is not becoming the best version of yourself. It’s letting the worst version of yourself be loved. Healing is saying every single version of me deserves love, deserves tenderness, deserves grace.”

This is a space where your voice matters, your story is honored, and your healing begins.

Rooted in compassion, connection, and evidence-based care, heart-centered therapy is designed to support women navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and self-worth challenges. Through a blend of approaches, you’ll be gently guided back to your truest self—grounded, resilient, and whole

Have you ever tried to “think” your way out of anxiety?

It often doesn’t work. Here’s why.………

Your emotions, and motivations are stored in your “feeling brain” or limbic system.

Traditional talk therapy typically only accesses your ‘thinking brain’ or prefrontal cortex in sessions.

That’s why traditional talk therapy doesn’t work for some people.. AND…that’s why many people can’t just ‘think’ their way out of anxiety.

In order to heal from trauma, anxiety, it’s critical to integrate limbic-system healing.

I specialize in limbic system therapies such as Mindful Therapy, Somatic awareness, Art Therapy and EMDR.
