Welcome! I’m Emily, a Licensed Art Therapist, Holistic Psychotherapist, and Wellness Educator.

I’m passionate about providing trauma-informed mental health treatment and wellness services for women. My therapeutic approaches are grounded in creative, holistic and evidence-based methods.

What to Expect

I’ll approach our work with the belief that you possess innate goodness and the capacity to heal.

Sessions will be rooted in therapeutic art making, mindful self-compassion practices, and evidence-based therapies (such as DBT Skills and/or EMDR). Sessions often include a combination of conversation, expressive art-making, and guided meditation or breath work. Through these methods, you’ll learn to lead a more balanced, self-connected and joyful life.

I help moms who want to create a more harmonious relationship with themselves - and their child. Whether you are stuck in power struggles, cycle breaking generational trauma, or who want resources to parent more effectively, I can help.

Trauma and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD)

C-PTSD can develop in response to experiencing ongoing childhood abuse or neglect, as well as inconsistent, invalidating, or emotionally unavailable caregiver(s). Treatment for C-PTSD IS possible! Past life events don’t have to run your life.

Self-Worth & Relationships

How you feel about yourself shapes your relationships. When you heal the inner dialogue of not-enoughness, everything shifts. You can start feeling truly seen, valued, and connected.

Anxiety

Anxiety may show up as replaying what you said or didwrong”, difficulty relaxing, future thinking, muscle tension, or feeling on-edge. However anxiety and panic are treatable. I can help you create more calm, and feel more safe and at home within yourself.

Burnout & Work Life Balance

I help individuals and teams improve wellness and work-life balance through group and individual services focused on burnout prevention, stress reduction, and emotional resilience building!

  • No. There are various ways that I infuse creativity into session such as with guided visualizations and creative writing if art making is not ‘your thing’.

    You don’t need to be an artist or artistic to work with an Art Therapist.
